How to make it

  • Line a 13 x 9 baking dish with foil. Dip each piece of chicken in the sauce and place in the pan. Pour remaining sauce over chicken. Bake at 500 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue to bake for another 2 hours, or til tender and juices run clear. Uncover the last 1/2 hour of baking. Remove from oven and place chicken on a warm platter, covered with foil. Pour sauce into a pot and thicken with cornstarch and water. Pour sauce over chicken on the platter. Sprinkle with a little chopped cilantro, if desired. Enjoy!
