How to make it

  • In saucepan over meduim heat melt chips with , with milk n salt.
  • Cook n stir until thickened about 25 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Combine wafer crumbs n n margarine, set aside 1 cup.
  • Press remaining crumb mixture in a 13x9" cake pan.Chill for 10-15 minutes in freezer.
  • Pour chocolateover crumbs and cover n freeze 20-25 minutes.
  • Slice ice cream n place on top of chocolate, spread to cover completely.
  • Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
  • Freeze at least 2 hours.
  • I sometimes use peanutbutter chips, usually a pack n half, instead of chocolate. n make a chocolate cookie crust and chocolate ice cream.
