How to make it

  • combine milk and honey in a large pan stir over medium heat until honey is melted ; bring to the boil.
  • add rice, currants and cardamon to pan, simmer uncovered, 45 minutes or until rice is tender and mixture is thick, stirring occasionally. serve warm topped with nuts and drizzled with cream and a little extra honey
