Apple Praline Cheesecake

- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 pounds red delicious apples peeled shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter softened shopping list
- 1 cup pecan pieces shopping list
- Cheesecake: shopping list
- 16 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter then stir in crumbs and sugar until thoroughly blended.
- Press into the bottom of a springform pan then set aside.
- Melt butter over low heat then add brown sugar, apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
- Simmer over low heat until apples are soft then cool mixture to room temperature and reserve.
- In small bowl mix all topping ingredients together with fork until well incorporated then reserve.
- Cream together sugar and cream cheese on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Add cream and continue beating until mixture is thick and creamy.
- Gently stir in cooled apple mix by hand then pour into prepared spring form pan.
- Spread praline topping over top then bake at 350 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool to room temperature before removing sides of the pan.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve then garnish with whipped cream.
