Peanut Butter Blondies

- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 2/3 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/3 cup milk shopping list
- 1 cup peanut butter chips shopping list
- Frosting: shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa shopping list
- 2 T milk shopping list
- 1 T light corn syrup shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup peanut butter chips shopping list
How to make it
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the peanut butter, butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in chips.
- Spread into a greased 13-in x 9-in x 2-in baking pan. Bake at 325 for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (do not overbake). Cool on wire rack.
- For frosting, in a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, cocoa, milk, corn syrup and vanilla. Gradually add confectioners' sugar; beat until smooth. Frost brownies. Sprinkle with chips. Cut into bars.
- Yield: 2 dozen.
