Six Can Tortilla Soup Recipe
My mother in law gave me this recipe. It's a great use for left over chicken. I usually throw whatever vegetables that I need to get rid of in the soup as well. It's always very yummy!

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups of left over chicken or 1 10 oz can chunk chicken
  • 1 15 oz can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 14.5 oz can chicken broth
  • 1 15 oz can black beans
  • 1 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 Jalapeño
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Red Pepper and salt to taste
  • Cheddar cheese
  • tortilla chips

Directions
  1. Throw everything into a pot
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes
  3. Add cheese and tortilla chips to bowls of soup before serving
