Six Can Tortilla Soup Recipe

My mother in law gave me this recipe. It's a great use for left over chicken. I usually throw whatever vegetables that I need to get rid of in the soup as well. It's always very yummy!

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of left over chicken or 1 10 oz can chunk chicken
- 1 15 oz can whole kernel corn, drained
- 2 14.5 oz can chicken broth
- 1 15 oz can black beans
- 1 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1 Jalapeño
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Red Pepper and salt to taste
- Cheddar cheese
- tortilla chips
Directions
- Throw everything into a pot
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes
- Add cheese and tortilla chips to bowls of soup before serving
