Ingredients
  • 2 handfuls of dry rosemary
  • handful of dry tansy
  • handful of dry thyme
  • 3 generous teaspoons of crushed cloves
  • cheese cloth or scraps of old cloth
  • string or ribbon
  • optional cedar chips or balsam for aroma (not edible)

Directions
  1. Mix all together (except string and cloth)
  2. place in airtight dry container (save silicon dioxide packets for this)
  3. for use put several tbs mixture in a piece of cloth and tie up to make a sachet.
  4. place around natural linens, furs, woolens to keep away the pesky moths
  5. probably need three or four sachets for a large coat. one or two for stacked linen.

Lavender works well too!


Yes, great as a freshener, but too many floral smells can actually attract them. I like to use the florals on sheets, pillowcases, towels or other non-natural fabrics.
