Nanas Strawberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 pie crust (9 inch), baked

1 quart strawberries

1/2 cup sugar

3 Tablespoons cornstarch

1 cup sugar

Directions

Wash berries and select 1/4 of the ncest ones to slice in half lengthwise. Arrange those in the baked pie shell. Sprinkle with 1/2 sugar.

Mash remaining berries and add cornstarch, 1 C. sugar and bring to boil until thick and clear. Cool to room temperature and then pour over the berries in the shell. Chill and serve with whipped cream.

Sounds like a great treat! I love those strawberry pies that Shoney's used to have! Maybe they still do.....I don't eat out much.
