Charcoal Broiled Live Lobsters

- Live lobsters shopping list
- melted butter shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- lemon sauce (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Split live lobsters from head to tail with sharp pointed knife open lobster and remove intestine and stomach, if you like tomalley and coral leave them in place
- crack claws
- place lobsters shell side down over coals brushing with melted butter before and during cooking
- broil on shell side for 10-15 minutes, depending on size of lobster then turn and broil just until slightly browned. keep meat moist and juicy.
- serve with melted butter or lemon sauce
- lemon sauce is made by adding 1 tsp. lemon juice to 1/4 cup butter with a sprinkling of ground black pepper
