How to make it

  • In a bowl,combine flour,sugar,and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  • Press into the bottom of an ungreased 8" square baking dish.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
  • Filling:
  • Drain pineapple,reserving juice. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl,beat cream cheese,sugar,and flour until smooth.
  • Add egg. Beat on low until just combined.
  • Add pineapple juice. Gradually add milk and vanilla.
  • Sprinkle pineapple over crust.
  • Pour filling over pineapple. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until set.
  • Cool in wire rack for 1 hour then store in refrigerator until completely cold.
  • Cut into squares and serve.

    would love to try making these, but sugar is listed twice in the filling ingredients, should one of these be flour ????
