Ingredients
  • Plain roti
  • 500 g all purpose flour , pinch of salt - sifted
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1 egg , lightly beaten
  • Pinch of sugar
  • ...........................................................................
  • Filling :
  • Fry the following ings .
  • 2 L onions , sliced
  • 4 green chillies , thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Meat powder
  • 2 tsp chilli pwd
  • 2 tbsp ginger - garlic paste
  • ............................................................................................................
  • Add to the above
  • 250 g minced mutton or chicken or can sardies drained .
  • Cook until done . Divide into 6 portions .
  • ......................................................................................................
  • 6 Eggs , lightly beaten , separately

Directions
  1. Add the egg, sugar and ghee with flour .
  2. Add milk , a little at a time and make a soft dough that is easy to handle.
  3. Leave for 4 hrs or overnight.
  4. Divide dough into 6 equal balls .
  5. Use ghee or oil and work on a flat surface .
  6. Roll up each ball and twist it into a coil.
  7. Roll it again as thin as possible into a round shape.
  8. Roll up and coil it again as before.
  9. Roll out with a rolling pin or use your hand and flatten it like pizza base , tossing it .
  10. Put on a grease ladle .
  11. Put the flatten dough .
  12. Throw an egg on it .
  13. Spread a portion of the fillings in the middle of the dough.
  14. Fold the sides and enclose the fillings by wrapping completely.
  15. Spread a little ghee and continue cooking.
  16. Turn it over and cook the other side.
  17. Continue to cook until both sides are crispy and golden in color.
  18. Cook the rest 5 balls the same way .
  19. Serve with plain curry .
