How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350ยบ
  • In large mixer bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and baking soda.
  • Add eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix well.
  • Stir in flour and oats; mix well.
  • Press 2/3 of the oat mixture on bottom of 15x10-inch baking pan. Stir together sweetened condensed milk and remaining vanilla. Spread filling evenly over oat mixture.
  • Stir almond brickle pieces into remaining oat mixture; with spoon, dot over filling.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
  • Cool.
  • Cut into bars.
  • Store covered at room temperature.
