I'm with Modmom. My Grandmother fed it to me without telling me what it was. Delish stuff.

I know different foods bring back different memories to people.!! I tried a bunch of different recipes in my life time, and beef tongue was realy good to some stuff I tasted!

I remember people telling me cottage cheese was once thrown away and never thought to be sold, now look what has happened to that stuff!!!

You are soooo correct about beef tongue. Grew up eating it as when I was a kid eons ago the butchers would give them away. Now it is a gourmet food. DRATS why did people have to catch on to what they were missing LOL I've never fried them as a cutlet but it sounds good. We usually just cook and slice for sandwiches and it never lasts long.
