Hungarian Boiled Beef Tongue

- 1 beef tongue, peeled ( if not peeled ask butcher to do it ) shopping list
- water shopping list
- bay leaf shopping list
- salt shopping list
- flour as need shopping list
- eggs as needed shopping list
- oil shopping list
How to make it
- Cover tongue with water, bay leaf and some salt and bring to a boil and simmer until tender about 3 1/2 hours.
- When cooked, cool to warm and cut in 3/4 inch slices
- Prepare like a cutlet by dipping in eggs and then flour and pan fry to brown.
- Serve with a brown beef gravy flavored with paprika.
