Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 6 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cups beer
  • 2 cups bottled sweet barbecue sauce like Kansas City Brand
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Time in recipe for sauce
  2. Heat oil and saute onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add lemon juice, beer, barbecue sauce Worcestershire and salt.
  4. Cook over medium heat until sauce bubbles, about 5 minutes.
  5. Cool
  6. Use sauce to either baste beef, pork or poultry parts while grilling or use a marinade .
  7. Marinade in a ziplock bag about 4 to 6 hours or even overnight
