How to make it

  • In a 9- by 12-inch non-metal dish, whisk dressing ingredients together and set aside.
  • Trim beans, put into a large pot and cover with cold water. Add olive oil. Bring to a boil, and boil till al dente, about 10 minutes. Beans should still have some bite to them.
  • Drain. Immediately add to dressing, turning to coat them. Cover dish and let beans marinate for several hours at room temperature before serving.
