How to make it

  • 1. Take a Dutch Oven, and fill it a little over half way with water and place over a high flame to boil (I like to cover most or all of the ribs in the broth)
  • 2. Place 3-4 large bouillon cubes in water
  • 3. Add: 1/3-1/2 Cup Italian Dressing (I used Wish-Bone, and I eyeball it, so it is hard for me to measure)
  • 4. 1 Tbsp of curry powder
  • 5. 1-2 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
  • 6. Crazy Janes Mixed up Salt (I used several good shakes)
  • 7. 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8. 1-2 tsp thyme, oregano, and paprika (I eyeball it, so it is hard for me to measure)
  • 9. 2-4 garlic cloves, whole
  • 10. Several shakes of garlic powder
  • 11. Add 1 half or a whole sliced onion (I like red onion)
  • 12. Add Lemon Juice to taste..(I try not to make it taste too BBQ ish, so I like the flavor of the Italian dressing and the lemon to take control)
  • I taste the broth, and adjust the ingredients to my liking, and then I place the country ribs in the dutch oven
  • Bring to a boil, and cook on med low heat for 3-4 hours. The longer it cooks the more tender it becomes.
  • Serve on a bed of rice in a bowl with hungry loved ones!
