- 1 (6 oz) pkg white & wild rice stuffing mix shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry sherry shopping list
- 3 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/4 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely diced celery shopping list
- 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds shopping list
- 2 tbsp green onion tops shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare rice according to package directions, but substitute dry sherry for 1/4 cup of the water. In another skillet ( 8"), over medium heat, add 3 tablespoons of butter and cook mushrooms and celery until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir mushroom mixture into rice and add almonds, green onions and pepper.
