bacon fried carrots

- Serves 4
fried carrots and onion with bacon and a dash of sugar
Ingredients
- 1 lb peeled sliced carrots shopping list
- 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped shopping list
- 4 slices bacon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- in skillet cook bacon until srisp, remove and set aside
- add carrots and onion to bacon drippings, sprinkle with seasonings cover and cook slowly 15 minuites or until just tender
- uncover and cook, turning occasionally, until carrots are slightly browned
- crumble bacon and add to carrots in warm serving dish
