How to make it

  • Blend the cream cheese, W-shire sauce and garlic powder.
  • Add the crab meat and cheddar.
  • Peel the cucumbers, or stripe them (leaving a strip of peel in place in a pattern).
  • Cut the cucumbers in half THE LONG WAY, and remove all the seeds.
  • Spoon the filling into the cucumber boats.
  • Wrap the filled boats in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  • Just before serving, unwrap the boats and cut them into 1/2-inch slices.
  • Serve with toothpicks to pick them up.
  • Be sure to keep them quite cold when you serve them. It pays off.

These are just okay. Tasted like Worcestershire sauce. Not much crab flavor. Even though I refrigerated 24hrs, the filling kept falling out of the cucumber as I was putting them on a plate. Posted a review in "I Made It II:" Crab Stuffed Cucumbers

I like the way these look when you stripe them.
    Cute little boats.
