How to make it

  • blend first four ingredients in mortar and pestle
  • combine with coffe liquer and lemon juice
  • measure out 2 tablespoons for basting lamb while grilling
  • thread lamb onto soaked skewers, oil lightly with olive oil
  • grill over hot coals for 8-10 minuites turning once, baste with basting sauce
  • serve lamb with remaining sauce for dipping
