Chocolate Crinkles

- 1 2/3 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- ¼ tsp salt shopping list
- ½ tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 2 tbsp sour cream shopping list
- ¼ cup corn oil shopping list
- 2 cups sifted powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl, thoroughly whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, cocoa powder and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour eggs, sour cream and oil. With a wooden spoon or spatula, stir slowly by hand until evenly mixed. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm enough to scoop.
- Preheat oven to 325ºF (160ºC) degrees.
- Using a small ice cream scoop or a teaspoon, scoop some mixture and drop in a bowl of powdered sugar. Completely dredge each scoop in powdered sugar and roll into balls.
- Arrange on a cookie sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for about 12 minutes. Tops should still a little soft when pressed. Let it cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes then remove from cookie sheets and let cool on a rack.
