How to make it

  • In a bowl, thoroughly whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, cocoa powder and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour eggs, sour cream and oil. With a wooden spoon or spatula, stir slowly by hand until evenly mixed. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm enough to scoop.
  • Preheat oven to 325ºF (160ºC) degrees.
  • Using a small ice cream scoop or a teaspoon, scoop some mixture and drop in a bowl of powdered sugar. Completely dredge each scoop in powdered sugar and roll into balls.
  • Arrange on a cookie sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for about 12 minutes. Tops should still a little soft when pressed. Let it cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes then remove from cookie sheets and let cool on a rack.
