I love swiss steak, but when I looked for a recipe all I got was to add a can of tomatoes. So I added some of my own favorite flavours and it turned out good !!! The measurements may be off so use your own amounts....

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs of steak ( your own choice)
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of garlic powder
  • dash of paprika
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, choppped
  • 1 can of tomato soup
  • 1 8oz can of stewed tomatoes
  • 1 small can of ready made beef gravy

Directions
  1. cut the steak into nice small-medium size pieces
  2. place in the slow cooker and cover with your spices ( pepper, garlic powder and paprika)
  3. add the chopped celery, onion and red pepper
  4. in a small bowl, mix the stewed tomaotes, tomato soup and beef gravy
  5. pour over top of your steak ( I give it a little stir)
  6. cover with lid and cook for about 5-6 hours
  7. serve over mashed potatoes!!
