Fiesta Skillet Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 pound ground(shredded) chicken breast, skinless
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning mix
  • 8 oz thin spaghetti, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions
  1. Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat
  2. Add chicken, onions and bell peppers
  3. Cook until chicken is no longer pink and veggies are tender
  4. Stir in water, tomato sauce, and taco seasoning mix
  5. Bring to a boil
  6. Add the uncooked spaghetti
  7. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until spaghetti is tender, about 25 minutes.
  8. Serve in bowls and sprinkle with cheese

Hey, what a great idea! Definitely trying this one. Any pasta recipe where I DON'T have to stand over a pot of boiling water is okay with me! Especially since it's still hot and sticky here. Thanks for a great post!
