How to make it

  • Cut collard greens into 1/2-inch strips.
  • Wash well and drain.
  • Bring salt water to boil, add greens and bring to a boil again.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes or until tender.
  • Drain.
  • Sauté garlic and onion in a little oil until tender.
  • Add greens and season with salt and pepper.
