How to make it

  • Drain pineapple reserving some juice.
  • Melt butter in baking pan, stir in brown sugar and enough juice to make the sugar mixture spread evenly in pan.
  • Arrange pineapple and cherries decoratively over top.
  • Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Pour evenly over pineapple rings.
  • Bake in 350F until tested done.
  • Cool slightly and carefully invert onto serving tray.
