Ingredients
  • 2 potatoes, thinly sliced (Use a Mandolin if you have one)
  • Oil (Veggie or Peanut Oil)
  • Salt

Directions
  1. Fill heavy pot. I use my cast iron skillet full enough of oil to deep fry.
  2. Oil should be about 350 degrees F.
  3. Cook potatoes in batches. About 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Don't overcrowd because that drops your oil temperature a lot and you get a soggy chip.
  5. Drain on paper towels and salt to taste.
