Homemade Potato Chips

- 2 potatoes, thinly sliced (Use a Mandolin if you have one) shopping list
- oil (Veggie or peanut oil) shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- Fill heavy pot. I use my cast iron skillet full enough of oil to deep fry.
- Oil should be about 350 degrees F.
- Cook potatoes in batches. About 2 to 3 minutes.
- Don't overcrowd because that drops your oil temperature a lot and you get a soggy chip.
- Drain on paper towels and salt to taste.
