How to make it

  • Combine the chocolate and water in a heavy saucepan. Place over low heat and heat til chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and beat in rum and salt. Cool to room temperature. Whip cream, gradually shipping in the sugar. Whip in the chocolate mixture. Pile in a dessert bowl or individual dessert dishes. Garnish with additional whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired.
