Raspberry Sauce

- 1/4c sugar shopping list
- 2Tbs. quick cooking tapioca shopping list
- 2 pkgs.(10oz.ea) frozen sweetened raspberries,thawed shopping list
- 1/2c water shopping list
- 1 cinnamon stick shopping list
- 1/8tsp salt shopping list
- Dash of ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1/3c lemon juice shopping list
- 1Tbs butter shopping list
- ice cream of your choice shopping list
How to make it
- In lg. saucepan,combine sugar and tapioca. Add one pkg. of raspberries;stir to coat. Let stand for 15 mins.
- Stir in water,cinnamon stick,salt and nutmeg.. Bring to a boil over med. heat ,stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat. Add the lemon juice and butter;stir until butter is melted. Cool for 20 mins.Discard cinnamon stick, . Gently stir in remaining raspberries. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice cream.

I have fresh raspberries but I used frozen...the fresh ones are too squishy. Thanks! I Love and appreciate your recipes.
