Ingredients
  • 6 large baking potatos
  • 2 large white onion the sweeter the better walla walla are my favorite
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 slices of crispy bacon
  • salt and pepper to tast
  • your favorite cheese originaly i used cheddar but swiss comes out great or guys seem to love with some parm.

Directions
  1. bake potatos earlies in the day, use half the butter to cover the potatos skins so you can eat them later
  2. you will want to make the onions earlies in the day too i like to use olive oil to caramalize onions it makes them sweeter, but i have used jared onions befor andthats fine
  3. when potatos are completely cooked and cool you can slice them in half take out the insides and mix with butter salt and pepper sour cream and bacon i mix in half of my carmalized onions and make sure all potatos are mixed in the the sour cream and butter
  4. you can let this stand in your fridge until you want to eat it or go ahead and top each potato with onions and some cheese and bake under tin foil for 20 min at about 325 and then another 5 to 10 without tin foil
