Peach Cobbler Recipe
this is an old family recipe, it is a cake type cobbler instead of a crust type--it is SO good. A great comfort food!!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 stick of salted butter
  • cinnamon --opitional

Directions
  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. place stick of butter in pan and put in oven until butter has melted
  3. while butter is melting, mix flour,sugar and milk ..it should have a pancake batter thickness about it.
  4. once butter has melted, pour the batter into the pan
  5. place peaches all over the batter as many or as little as you like
  6. pour a little extra of the peach syrup over it all, about a third or half of the can depending how moist you want it.
  7. you can sprinkle cinnamon over the top if you want or not up to you : )
  8. place back into the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until batter is firm and golden
