Like Fresh Creamed Corn

- 3-16 ounce packages frozen shoepeg white corn, *partially thawed* shopping list
- 1 stick unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 cup half and half shopping list
- 1-1/2 to 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Place one of the packages of corn in a food processor
- Process until smooth, stopping now and then to scrape down the sides
- Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat
- Stir in the pureed corn, the remaining 2 packages of corn, milk, salt, and pepper
- Bring mixture just to boil, stirring constantly
- Reduce heat, and simmer about 20-25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed
- Stir often
- IF YOU PREFER IT A LITTLE SWEETER, YOU MAY ADD A LITTLE SUGAR TO TASTE
