Cheesy Potatoes Recipe

A nice potato side dish.My family request this alot.

Ingredients
- 8 meduim baking potatoes,peeled n sliced
- 1/2 a onion diced ,optional
- 1 lb loaf processed cheese,sliced
- 1/2 cup butter
- salt n pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups milk or as needed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Place 1/2 the potatoes in meduim baking dish,layer with 1/2 the onion,1/2 the cheese n 1/2 the butter.Sprinkle 1/2 the cornstarch over top.Season with salt n pepper.
- Repeat layers, reserving some cheese slices.
- Pour in enough milk to cover potatoes.
- Bake for 40 minutes,stirring twice.Top with remaining cheese slices and continue baking 30 more minutes,or until potatoes are tender.
