Ingredients
  • 5 apples
  • 4 tbls sugar ( more might be needed )
  • 1 teacup water
  • 18 tbls self-raising flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 oz (3/8 of 500g) butter
  • 1big handful raisins (optional)
  • pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F).
  2. Core, peel and dice the apples. If you chop the apples into smaller pieces, they will cook better. I also put the apples and raisens in a bowl of water to soak.
  3. Put the fruit into a baking/pie dish and sprinkle sugar on top. Make sure all the apples get sugared.
  4. Add the teacup of water to it.
  5. In a bowl add the flour and then melt the butter slightly so it is squishy. Then add it to the flour with the salt. Mix till golden crumbs.
  6. Add the sugar in well.
  7. Put the crumbly mix on top of the fruit - make sure it is evenly spread.
  8. Bake for 30 min.
  9. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of your crumble.
