German Saurkraut

- This is how it was sent to us: shopping list
- 850 gr saurkraut (about 4 cups) shopping list
- 60 gr butter (1/4 cup) shopping list
- 5 gr sugar (1 tsp) shopping list
- 1 crude potato (raw) shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- At first you have to loosen the saurkerut. Then you put the saurkraut in more than a pint of boiling water. Don't forget to flavor it and put some fat in. (sugar, butter, salt) Then close pot and stew it.
- After that, you have to rub the crude potato in. (grate raw potato).
- Now the saurkraut must cook about 20 minutes.
