How to make it

  • scald peel and pit peaches
  • Cook pulp using very little water
  • Press above mixture through seive
  • to each cup pulp add one half as much of sugar
  • cook until thick and clear
  • add 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon to 3 cups pulp
  • add 1 box of sure gel
  • let boil for 1 minute
  • pour above mixture into Kerr sterilized jars
  • screw band on firmly tight
  • process in water bath for 10 minutes
