- 1/2 C baking powder
- 1/4 C sugar
- 9 C flour
- 1 1/4 C shortening

Ingredients

How to make it

Sift together powder and sugar into flour.
Sift together twice into large mixing bowl.
Add the shortening, cutting in with pastry blender, until mix is consistency of corn meal.
You can also do this in your food processor or in the kitchen-aid with the whip attachment.
Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
In the warmer months I stash mine in the fridge.
