Spicy Tomato Bread

- 2-1/2 Cups flour shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 3/4 Tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Grated cheese shopping list
- 1/4 Cup Grated parmesan cheese( fresh) shopping list
- milk shopping list
- 1-16oz Can stewed tomatoes,drained,reserve liquid shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 Cup vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- Stir together flour,baking powder,salt,garlic salt,cayenne,oregano,sugar and cheeses.
- Coarsely chop the tomatoes(get the whole type so as to control the size of the chopped tomato in your bread).
- Add enough milk to liquid of tomatoes to make 2/3 Cup.
- Add eggs and oil and stir to blend well.
- Add liquid to flour mixture.
- Blend and fold in chopped tomatoes.
- Batter will be thick.
- Pour into greased 8-1/2"x 4-1/2" x2"-1/2" Loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Turn out on rack to cool.
- Good Warm or Cold
