Ingredients
- A cup or more stale bread diced fine
- butter
- brown sugar
- applesauce
- whipped cream
- cinnamon
- or ice cream
Directions
- Crisp up a cup or more of stale bread, diced fine.
- Put in a frying pan with a little butter and brown sugar.
- Stir in an equal amount of applesauce.
- Make it good and hot. Serve with cream
- Whipped or plain-flavored with cinnamon or serve with ice cream
