How to make it

  • Beat 4 eggs
  • Add the ricotta
  • Add the sugar and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Add the flour and mix well. In case batter is a little stiff add a small amount of milk and mix well.
  • Gently place batter in hot oil using tip of a metal spoon or ice cream scooper.
  • Roll freshly fried zeppole in cinnamon and sugar mixture.

    Is the flour called for actually 1 1/4 pounds, or did you mean 1 1/4 cups? Thx in advance.
