Adobo simply means "seasoning mix" and every spanish speaking country has their own. This is a seasoning mix used in Puerto Rico. You can put it on everything from rice and beans to meats and eggs.
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp salt shopping list
- 4 Tbsp garlic powder shopping list
- 2 Tbsp onion powder shopping list
- 2 Tbsp black pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbsp cumin shopping list
- 2 Tbsp saffron shopping list
- 2 Tbsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1 Tbsp lemon zest shopping list
- 1 Tbsp turmeric shopping list
- 1 Tbsp paprika shopping list
- 1 Tbsp coriander shopping list
- 1 Tbsp dried cilantro shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the spices together and put in a sealed container.
- Sprinkle on all your food while cooking

i am all about adobo my dauhter wont eat food with out in it.i am going to send her this recipe so she can make her own nothing aginst goya but this is so much eaiser and better. thanks
