Connies Fabulous Apple Nut Cake

Here is a classic Apple Cake from my friend, Connie. Simple and oh so delicious. This recipe has no butter in it! I have been fortunate to enjoy this. Your guest' s and family will love.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Cup oil shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 Cups flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 4 Medium size apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin. shopping list
- 1 Cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- powder sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl except the apples and nuts.
- Mix with wooden spoon until well blended.
- Add apples and nuts and lightly mix.
- Pour into lightly greased 9 X 13 pan.
- Bake in preheated oven 45 minutes at 350.
- When slightly cool, sprinkle with powder sugar through a flour sifter for a fine even coating. Sprinkle with additional nuts.
