How to make it

  • Cook broccoli according to package directions or your preferred method, then drain if you added water. (I like to cook mine in a shallow dish in the microwave, covered, with no water added, for 7-10 minutes, turning the dish once or twice).
  • Combine cooked broccoli, rice and cheese and place in a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Top with cracker crumbs.
  • Bake at 350 just until heated through. Do not overcook or you will have mushy broccoli.
