Cajun Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
  • The brownies
  • 1-1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 10 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans
  • The icing
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 7 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups confectioner's sugar

Directions
  1. Brownies:
  2. Combine all ingredients, pour into a 9x14-inch buttered baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or tested done
  3. Icing
  4. Combine all ingredients.
  5. When the brownies are cool, spread over the top and cut into desired serving sizes -- about 1 inch square, or 2-3 inches for a
  6. restaurant-sized serving
