Dilly Casserole Bread

- 1 Pack active dry yeast( or 1 cake compressed yeast) shopping list
- 1/4 cup warm water shopping list
- 1 cup creamed cottage cheese,heated to luke warm shopping list
- 2 tbs sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs minced onion shopping list
- 1 tbs butter shopping list
- 2 tsp dill seed shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp soda shopping list
- 1 unbeated egg shopping list
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
How to make it
- Soften yeast in water
- Combine in the mixing bowl cottage cheese,sugar,onion,butter,dill seed salt,soda,egg and softened yeast
- add flour tpo form a stiff dough,beating werll after each addition(for first addition of flour use mixer on low speed)
- Cover let rise in warm place( 85 to 90 degrees)
- Untillight abd doubled in size,50 to 60 min
- Stir down dough,
- turn into well greased 8 ins round 1 1/2 or 2 quart casserole
- let rise in a warm place until light,30 to 40 min
- bake at 350 for 40 to 50 min until golden brown.
- brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt
- makes 1 round loaf
