Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Sift together the flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder.
  • Stir in the brown sugar.
  • Combine the egg, oil, and milk.
  • Stir into the dry ingredients just enough to moisten.
  • Fill greased muffin tins about 1/2 full.
  • Bake 20 minutes.

    These were really good. I think next time I may use butter though. I also did a struesel on top. We enjoyed it very much! Nice and easy too!

    I made these for breakfast this morning. Very good...but not as sweet as I had hoped. I did add another TBS of brown sugar and a smidge of Vanilla. Also instead of using 1/2 cup of oil, I did a 1/4 cup of melted butter and the texture was perfect. Next time I make these, I will definitely add more sugar (but really that's cause i'm a brown sugaraholic...lol) Excellent recipe and will make again!! Thank you!
