Khaman Dhokla or Flour Recipe

- FOR DHOKLA shopping list
- curd - half cup shopping list
- water - half cup shopping list
- gram flour - half cup shopping list
- Soda-bi-carbonate - half tsp shopping list
- turmeric powder - half tsp shopping list
- sugar - a pinch shopping list
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp shopping list
- fruit salt - 1 tsp shopping list
- salt and green chilli - to taste shopping list
- FOR TEMPERING shopping list
- oil - 1 tsp shopping list
- mustard seeds - 1 tsp shopping list
- coriander leaves - 1 bunch (chopped) shopping list
- Green chillies - 8 (slit) shopping list
- curry leaves - 5 shopping list
How to make it
- FOR DHOKLA
- Grease a microwave safe flat dish with little oil.
- Beat all the ingredients of Dhokla together. Pour the ingredients into the greased dish.
- Microwave (covered) at 80% power for 6 min.
- When ready, pour half cup of water on dhokla and cover it.
- FOR TEMPERING
- In a microwave safe bowl, microwave all the ingredients (except chopped coriander leaves) for 3 min.
- Spread the tempering evenly on dhokla and cut into pieces.
- Garnish with chopped coriander.
- Serve with sweet chutney
