Mandarin Beef Or Venison Stir-fry Recipe
The tender meat along with the colorful, crispy veggies make a beautiful tasty meal.

Ingredients
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 2 T. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. ground ginger
  • _____________________
  • 1 lb. round steak, or venison, cut into thin strips
  • _____________________
  • 2 c. snow peas, thawed
  • 1 med. onion cut into wedges
  • 1 med. green pepper, julienned
  • 1c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 T. veg. oil
  • _____________________
  • 1 can (11 oz ) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 2 T. cornstarch
  • _____________________
  • Hot cooked rice

Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine first 5 ingredients, reserving half marinade.
  2. Add meat strips to other half of marinade, cover & frig. for 15mins.
  3. (I like to marinate the meat overnight)

  5. In lg. skillet or wok, Stir fry veggies 2 mins. in oil, remove & keep warm.
  6. Drain meat, stir fry till no pink.
  7. Add oranges and reserved vegetables
  8. _____________________
  9. Combine reserved marinade and cornstarch until smooth; add to skillet.
  10. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 mins. or until thickened.
  11. Serve over rice.
