How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Combine softened butter, sugar, molasses and egg.
  • Beat Well.
  • Sift dry ingredients together.
  • Add to the wet mixture.
  • Add Crystallized ginger.
  • Chill for 1 hour.
  • Form 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
  • Place on a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes.
