Chewy Ginger Snaps

- 3/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup sugar (granulated) shopping list
- 1/4 cup molassas shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 cups flour (sifted) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp group ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 3 1/2 oz crytallized ginger, chopped coursely shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Combine softened butter, sugar, molasses and egg.
- Beat Well.
- Sift dry ingredients together.
- Add to the wet mixture.
- Add Crystallized ginger.
- Chill for 1 hour.
- Form 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
- Place on a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
- Bake 8-10 minutes.
