SOUTHERN SPINACH Recipe

How to make it

  • Remove stems and pick the yellow and brown leaves off the spinach.
  • Wash spinach several times in kitchen sink.
  • Wash until spinach is free of any residue and water runs clear.
  • Cook all together on top of stove in large pot in about 3 cups water for 1 hour on medium high heat at a soft rolling boil.
  • Add more water if necessary.
