Swiss Roll In Strawberries

- 3 egg whites shopping list
- 3 egg yolks , lightly beaten shopping list
- 1/2 C caster sugar shopping list
- 3/4 C self raising flour , sifted shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 3/4 C cream whipped with 1 tbsp caster sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp hot water shopping list
- 6 tbsp strawberry jam shopping list
- 200 g strawberries , cubed shopping list
- whipped cream and some 50 g whole strawberries shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat oven at 200 deg .
- Grease and line a swiss roll tin with baking paper 26 by 30 cm .
- On a clean tea towel place a baking paper 30 by 35 cm and sprinkle some sugar on it . Set aside .
- Beat egg whites with salt until soft peaks form .
- Add sugar and beat until it dissolves .
- Add egg whites and beat until thick .
- Fold in the flour and hot water .
- Spead in the tin and bake 10 mins , until firm .
- Turn onto the sugar paper and peel of the baking paper from the bottom .
- Roll loosely using the tea towel as a guide and leave it to cool .
- Now , unroll it .
- Spead the jam and then cream on top , followed by the berries .
- Roll again and chill .
- Top it with whipped cream and strawberries before serving .
- Serve with in few hours .
